Pilates

Pilates is a low‑impact, mind–body form of exercise that supports women’s health by strengthening deep core and postural muscles, improving pelvic floor function, and enhancing flexibility and alignment. It can help with back pain, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and pelvic support through different life stages. The focus on controlled breathing and mindful movement also offers meaningful benefits for stress reduction, mood, and overall emotional wellbeing.

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome

In pelvic congestion syndrome, dilated pelvic veins can cause chronic pelvic pain, heaviness, and discomfort with prolonged standing or certain activities. Dr. Farbod’s role is to complement medical and interventional care by using specific exercises, positioning, and lifestyle guidance aimed at reducing venous pooling and improving pelvic floor function. Her work often includes education on posture, daily movement habits, and safe home exercises to support symptom relief and functional recovery.
